Degree in Social Studies Education. I worked my way through school, and the jobs and travels taught me as much as the college classes.Dec 1993 Hired at Ft. Braden Elementary/Middle School. I started out as Department Chairman for the Middle School and quickly redistrubuted the classes while puttin a new discipline plan in place. The second year was much better; The teachers, on their own time, sought funding by writing grants. Funds were for additional field trips, classroom supplies, and computer software. Another large grant was won to create an after-school program which keep the library open late 2 nights a week . Each after-school program teacher held different 'classes' to augment our normal instruction. 1994- 1996 Lots of grants! Lots of kids. We built a partial Colonial Style Fort Wall on the back of the school property. We put interactive lessons on the internet a decade before they would become common and showed the students AND their parents how to use them1997- 1998 Awards and More Grants Start a Computer Consulting company on the side, The Computer Dudes were created as an 'S' corporation in October of 1997.Summer Travel and sometimes Consulting Jobs1999 Left Education to work on a Masters Degree and take a few years off. Playing the Stock Market during this time helped me become financially independant.2000 Finishing Masters Studies, Swing computer services into high gear. Start a radio/electrical engineering company to work on cell towers and wireless enviroments.The Computer Dudes, Inc. buys out 3 local competitors.And here we are today! In the future, I hope to continue along the same lines.
