Senior Systems Engineer – IBI Group (2012-present) – Directs infrastructure and development teams which work closely with contracted customers to manage end-to-end systems support and engineering projects that include complex network infrastructure and large-scale fault-tolerant data and telephony networks for various government agencies. • Manages all systems and technical relationships for IBI Cloud hosted applications (Advanced Traveller Information Systems, Advanced Traffic Management Systems, Government sponsored *511 traveller information systems, and various Interactive voice response systems), including telephony, data, and collocation contracts. The major customers that Todd directly supports are:o Connecticut Department of Transportation (Design and support entire DOT Traffic Operations ATMS systems and networks)o Connecticut Transit Authority - CT Fastrak system design and implementation oversight and ongoing security and continuityo New York 511 Traveller Information (NYSDOT)- Entire hosting platform design, build and manage. This is a zero downtime environment, all systems are fully redundant and failover and recovery drills are performed semi-annually to ensure maximum uptime of the system.o Other customers of similar and varying scope include Florida DOT, LA SAFE, Denver Regional Transit, MassDOT, and Alaska PS&DOT.• Responsible for managing technical implementation of large-scale deployments to both IBI Clould Services and on-site engagements. This includes managing both external contractors and internal work teams. These teams includes the infrastructure team located in Toronto and a six person development team to tackle top priority infrastructure and customer requests, as well as normal project-driven demands.• Primary point of contact for technical issues for key customers, delivering consistently high customer satisfaction.

Managed all facets of day-to-day technical operations. This includes all infrastructure, vendor relationships, and contracts for all data and telephony services. Responsible for all security, network configurations, and operational environments including maintaining best practices and industry standards. • Managed all technical relationships with various telco vendors, software vendors, and state agency technical groups. • Directed and managed all aspects of product development and consistently delivered projects on time with a high level of accuracy and productivity.• Responsible for all project planning around the technical roll-outs of all new products including Mass511 including landline and wireless carriers transitions of the 511 service • Directly responsible for Sendza's 511 database on the Oracle 11gr2 cluster including upgrades, expansions, availability, and maintenance• Architect for all network engineering and planning, including design of all new project hardware/software and build-outs.
