In February 2001 the company made a surprise announcement that my entire department and staff (Lightwave) would be moving to Santa Rosa by the end of 2001. At that time, my family and I decided to stay in Colorado and subsequently joined Raytheon. Although I was only with Agilent for a very short period of time, my manager recognized me for my significant contributions to the highly visible project I was a part of.
