Responsible for a team of attorneys globally providing advice and guidance to the Asset & Wealth Management Division's Intelligent Digital Solutions (IDS) business. IDS is responsible for JPMorgan's digital platform for the firm's wealth management businesses, including its self-directed investing platform. IDS is also responsible for digital transformation, big data analytics, and artificial intelligence and machine learning initiatives for J.P. Morgan’s Asset & Wealth Management business globally.

Led a team of attorneys globally to provide advice and guidance on a broad range of mobile and web-based wealth management products and services (digital advisory, electronic trading, electronic delivery and related e-services and capabilities) for the high, ultra-high and middle market institutional markets.

General Counsel of the J.P. Morgan Securities line of business, which offers brokerage, investment advisory and banking services for U.S. and foreign high and ultra-high net worth individual and institutional clients. Member of the J.P. Morgan Securities LLC Operating Committee.

Managing Director & Associate General Counsel for the Bear Stearns Private Client Group. Advised business management and Compliance on broad range of broker-dealer, investment advisory, banking and ERISA regulatory issues. Lead/managed the Private Client Group's New Product Committee.

Director & Associate General Counsel for Merrill Lynch's Global Private Client Group. Provided legal coverage for Merrill Lynch OnLine and Merrill Lynch Direct (on-line brokerage), Cash Mangement Account products (CMA, RCMA, WCMA), deposit and money market fund sweeps, credit and debit cards, securities-based credit, fixed income, retail structured products, directed share programs, customer protection rules/SIPC and marketing. Before that covered the firm’s 529 college savings plan offering (consisting of fourteen mutual fund portfolios); advised marketing and operations groups on tax matters and compliance with MSRB rules; negotiated mutual fund sub-advisory and dealer agreements relating to the same. Before that covered individual retirement (IRA, Roth IRA, Education IRA) and business retirement (Keough, SEP/SIMPLE, 403(b) and non-qualified deferred compensation) plan products and services, including maintenance of prototype plan documents and guidance on non-bank custodian issues (including tax reporting).

Vice President & Counsel for Private Client and Broker-Dealer (Correspondent Clearing) Services Groups. Provided general advice and guidance relating to new accounts, documentation, cashiering, correspondent clearing, proxies and reorganizations, client services and IRAs/Keoghs. Handled sales practice complaints and collection litigation; supported responses to customer complaints, regulatory inquiries and investigations.
