My career has spanned all phases of water/wastewater/stormwater conveyance infrastructure projects, including gravity and pressure system design, H & H calculations, collections, distribution, pump station design, and plant site civil and yard piping design for the Stantec Water Group. I fill the role of Project Technical Lead. Additionally, I am the Internship Program Coordinator for the Tucson office and am also experienced in utility coordination, equipment evaluation, construction, planning, and client facing marketing services. I performed duties that included engineering analysis and design for water/stormwater/wastewater infrastructure, H & H modeling, and CADD for both the Water Resources and the Transportation Groups.

Based on 32 years of providing project management, civil engineering and transportation planning services for a wide range of clients throughout southern Arizona and the Southwest, Bill Schlesinger formed SCE Engineering, in 2012. Edie Griffith-Mettey became co-owner in 2015 and brought her 31 years of experience to the ownership team. SCE Engineering combines experienced full-time and on-call professionals with state-of-the art technology to provide quality, timely, cost-effective engineering services. SCE Engineering is DBE and HUBZone Certified. The duties I performed in this period with the company include:- Assisted in preparation of proposals and engineering plans for a variety of civil engineering/roadway projects- Responsible for roadway modeling including center-line, template and corridor creation for earthwork calculations using InRoads/MicroStation- Attended job announcement/proposal meeting in Pinal County- Responsible for developing methods in Microsoft Office/Sharepoint to improve CAD file and project file accessibility

The duties I performed in this period with the company include:- Assisted in preparation of proposals and engineering plans for a variety of civil engineering/roadway projects- Responsible for roadway modeling using InRoads/MicroStation- Performed field survey work, GPS marking of existing drainage features, documentation of obstructions and other features, as well as video/photographic documentation of job sites- Use relevant software to convert GPS into state plane coordinates and import into Inroads/Microstation- Honed my presentation, meeting management, and project coordination skills by attending a numerous variety of meetings with clients, subcontractors, and utilities.

Duties included:- Responsible for sales, inventory control, and customer service during night shifts- Responsible for knowledge and enforcement of all state and federal regulations concerning the distribution of alcohol- Learned time management and conflict resolution skills managing customers and employees
