In June 2010, I joined SunAmerica as Divisional VP of Annuities. My position was to rebuild Region 7, which had been vacated since 2007. After analyzing the region, I discovered there wasn’t any production for Q1/Q2. In order to start up this region, I developed an 80/20 list from SunAmerica’s focus firms. With this list, I identified the top 200 advisors to focus on for Q3/Q4. By year-end, I increased revenue growth from $3M to $12M, increased sales 61%, and established 62 new producers.
