I worked as a sales associate carrying out various tasks including customer service, working the tills and stock replenishment. I left the role in order to carry out further research in the form of a Master's degree.

During the beginning of summer 2017, I worked as a researcher for The Mortimer History Society. During this role, I was tasked with researching and compiling a biography of some of the Northern Marcher Lordships including Chirk, Bromfield and Yale, and Flint. My work not only involved academic research but field visits to various sites of importance such as Holt and Chirk Castle, and attending a conference in Ludlow where the History Society is based. My work, which includes detailed descriptions of the Lordship, timelines of the Lordships, and photographs taken from field trips will be used in the book that is due to be published in late 2018. During my time as an Archives Project volunteer I carried out various tasks such as cataloguing, conservation work and public engagement to a professional standard. I was tasked with creating descriptions of collections through cataloguing and research which was published on the archives website and as such used by the public.
