I am a producer, writer, and editor of documentaries and short films for some of the nation's largest companies and organizations.My first feature documentary, "Loving Lampposts: Living Autistic," screened at the United Nations for World Autism Awareness Day, won Best Documentary at the Peace on Earth Film Festival, won the Social Consciousness Award at VisionFest in New York, and received national distribution on VOD and DVD from Cinema Libre Studio.My second documentary "The Campaign of Miner Bo," follows an unemployed coal miner who runs for the U.S. Senate in West Virginia. It aired on PBS stations around the country, including multiple national broadcasts on the WORLD Channel. The film also received a Silver Telly award and the "Spirit of the Mountains" award for the film that best captures the spirit of the Appalachian people at the UPIKE Film Festival.Currently, I am directing "Fourteen Section Two," which follows a voting rights lawsuit related to a never enforced 150-year-old provision of the U.S. Constitution.Prior to directing my own work, I edited documentaries that aired on Ovation TV and PBS Philadelphia and were released theatrically.In the corporate and non-profit world, I specialize in taking projects from conception to completion. I have experience in developing creative concepts that communicate the client's message; writing proposals, treatments, and scripts; editing video; and working closely with clients and vendors to bring projects in on time and on budget.With a background in writing and production, and years of experience making films for major corporations, I offer clients a unique ability to master difficult topics and present them in compelling ways. I've brought these skills to bear for such clients as the American Lung Association, CitiGroup, MasterCard, New York University, Procter & Gamble, PwC, and many others.
