Management Duties:Develop and maintain project schedules based on project requirements for Corporate Applications group, which consists of myself, 6 Developers of varying skill sets and extends to encompass 4 Business Analysts. I delegate project assignments, provide training and mentoring.Coordinate with staff to develop coding standards which includes: naming standards, data layer/connection standards, business layer and presentation standards. Developed deployment standards from development to test then training and production environments. Database Administrator Duties:Deployed two MSSQL 2005 clusters each with two active nodes which are currently used for production and testing purposes.Deployed one MSSQL 2008 R2 Enterprise cluster with three active nodes. Setup transactional based replication using the reporting server as the distributor. The replication subscriptions are used on the reporting server and other production servers where a read only query is needed. This has drastically improved performance by moving reporting off the production transaction based servers and reducing the need for Linked Servers.Assist the reporting group with complex queries and Crystal Reports.Development Duties:Developed a Project Management application. Modeled the layout after MS Project so upper management would be familiar with the layout and editing. Base population is done automatically by my staff via our Request for Service(RFS)/ticket application. This helped keep myself and other managers/project shareholders up to date with the projects while drastically reducing the time needed to maintain MS Project.Developed a Distributor form used by contracting. On this project I used ASP.NET with C# code behind and went 100% xml http with web service pages for the data layer. This gave the form nice desktop applications feel instead of your typical web form with post backs.

Moved ASG from MSSQL 7 to MSSQL 2000. Setup appropriate maintenance and disaster recovery plans and monitored the servers and maintenance plans.Took over the Intranet which when I started was just html pages with Policies and Procedures documents. I started developing workflow based applications which today ASG's Intranet contains the majority of the applications utilized by employees.A few of the applications I developed: Purchase Request, Employee Requisition, Request for Service, Travel Request, Expense Report and Time Off Request. All the applications re-use the same workflow tables and methods which allows for quick deployment and quick end user training. The majority of the applications I have developed have been web based with a few form and console based applications utilized for maintenance type applications. Started in 99 using classic asp with vb switched in 02 to ASP.NET with VB code behind and later switched to C# in 07.Developed a Time Off Request system that is dynamic enough to handle accruals and plans to cover over 30 domestic and international locations.Designed, implemented, documented and currently maintain complex database applications for a variety of systems, while maintaining the highest level of business knowledge pertaining to each project. Database applications include environments such as, Accounting/Financial Services, HR, Customer Service, Purchasing, Sales, Help Desk, Imaging & Printing, Travel, Facilities, Legal, Development, IT, Receiving, Shipping, QA and various other environments. With the successful completion of each project I gained extensive experience with data analysis and design and am consistently awarded for delivering an excellent product during an aggressive timescale in a team environment.Utilized Http uploads allowing users to attach images to Intranet applications. For example: Receipts to an Expense Report. This imaging application can easily be attached to any of our workflow applications.
