Manage a global support team support 3 products: TeleScope, Xinet, OnBrand. All 3 products are used to manage digital and brand assets from creation to approvals to usage and archiving. The team provided technical support services for customers and partners on-premises, hosted, and SaaS implementations. Technology platforms supported are Windows. Mac, Unix. Java, C# and working with the relational databases SQL Server and Oracle. Utilized the AWS cloud virtual environment to provide high-quality support to customer implementations of different versions of the products. Quality Assurance Subject Matter Expert - providing Telescope expertise to the Quality Assurance team and provide Quality Assurance testing for product enhancements. Telescope Trainer - Develop and deliver training courses for Basic Users, Administrators, and Advanced Functions for the Telescope product. Telescope Support Technician - Provide 24/7 technical support for Telescope customers. Supporting the Telescope product on Windows and Mac environments utilizing SQL server and Oracle databases. Implement improvements to the Support Team's process to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.

As a member of IRMAC I delivered several presentations on the topic of Metadata Management and Data Warehousing. Started the Metadata Special Interest Group and served on the board of directors as the chairperson of the Metadata Special Interest Group.

Participated as a key individual to build a Managed Metadata Environment. Guided the development of a Metadata strategy Data Warehouse Infrastructurefor within the company. Evaluated, selected and implemented the Metadata Reposiotry used to deliver a data dictionary integrating the company's technical definitions with industry standard definitions.

Provided consulting services as the functional product expert for the project to replace the Brownstone Metadata Repository with the Computer Associates Allfusion Repository for z/OS (ARzOS), Allfusion Endevor and Allfusion ER/Win products. The Allfusion Repository ran on top of the DB2 relational database. Provide project management support as required using Microsoft project.

Provided development services and project coordination for various projects at EDS. Working with Pacbase/COBOL developed enhancements to programs for the General Motors GCOMS system according to the change request specification. Also assisted in the coordination/management of the project.

Deployed, maintained and managed the development, maintenance and evolution of the Enterprise Metadata Repository application using the Computer Associates Advantage Repository for zOS. (Formerly Platinum Repository)Promoted the use of the Metadata Repository to evolve from an insignificant application to a sought after tool by application teams to document and understand their own applications and how their applications integrate with the rest of the bank. The Enterprise Metadata Repository supported the 20 terabyte Teradata Enterprise Date Warehouse Environment and more than 200 RBC legacy applications. The Metadata Management work at RBC was recognized by the industry with RBC winning the Best Practices in Metadata Management Award. It was also highlighted in a case study in the book “Universal Meta Data Models” by David Marco.Acquired, deployed and managed data quality solutions for the Data Warehouse Environment and various enterprise initiatives using Ascential Quality Stage (formerly VALITY Integrity)Acquired, deployed and managed the Business Intelligence functionality for the Data Warehouse using the Seibel Analytics (formerly Quire) business intelligence tool.

Develop and supporting various batch and on-line programs using COBOL / Pacbase with IMS hierarchical and DB2 relational databases for the Vehicle Sales Service Marketing group of General Motors Canada. Involved with all aspects of the systems development life-cycle including requirements gathering, business analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and post-production support. Developed the Request and Time Tracking System using the Texas Instrument’s Information Engineering Facility (EIF/Composer) for General Motors Vehicle Sales Service Marketing Account.Conduct classroom training on the use of Microsoft Office tools.

Operator to the Air Canada airline reservation system (Reservec) on a Unisys 1100/90.Developed and deployed an issues tracking system to track system outages to the Reservec system to ensure Air Canada met and exceeded the system availability according to the SLA.

Developed a multi-user Manpower Scheduling system on an IBM PC-AT personal computer. The application operated in a DOS environment using Multilink multi-user software, DBASE III DBMS and Lotus 123. The application required the redesign of operational processes and allowed for the redeployment of 2 Full Time Employees.Operational improvements included: Schedule generation reduced from 1 weeks to 1 hour; Weekly timesheet creation reduced from 5 days to 1.5 hours; Error reduction from data entry reduced from 5-6 pages to 6 lines in the first week of deployment; the system allowed for real-time updates to employee schedules to facilitate movement within the organization.
