Outpatient Neuroscience Laboratory including EEG, EMG, NCV, and ENG testing (290 procedures / month).Neurodiagnostic Center Support Services which includes management of facility rental income ($520K / year), negotiation of maintenance contracts ($60K / year) for over 20 pieces of diagnostic equipment, development of disaster management, hazardous materials, and infection control policies. - Assisted in the floor plan design, and coordinated the construction of a two-story, $12 million Neurodiagnostic Center Facility comprised of MRI, CT, Diagnostic Radiology, O/P Neuro Rehabilitation, O/P Neuroscience, Sleep Disorders Center, Physicians Offices, and Spine Institute. - Participated in I.S. needs assessment, design, installation, and implementation of SMS Information System network utilized for patient billing and outpatient scheduling. - Developed and implemented flexible staffing plan for 10 employees based on patient volumes resulting in 20% decrease in paid hours per statistic. - Developed continuous process improvement plans for neuroscience departments addressing 23 hour hold patient conversions and procedure time durations. - Directed a six bed full service sleep disorders center with 15 employees providing PSG, MSLT, Esophageal pH, Infant Apnea, and Nocturnal Seizures testing. - Implemented quality improvement measurements relating to random inter-scorer reliability testing, and manual verses computer assisted scoring comparisons with consistent results of 90% or greater agreement to achieve exceptional rating on testing during reaccreditation by the AASM. - Devised an operational supplies cost reduction program which effected a 35% decreases in expenses in one year. - Established protocols and coordinated analysis activities for a four bed satellite sleep center utilizing digital computer assisted instrumentation.
