I have been working in the chemistry industry for over fifteen years. I have always had a huge interest in learning how things work. This started as a child by learning how to work on cars by taking the engine out and rebuilding it before even being able to drive. This curiosity quickly extended into the field of chemistry after taking my first course in college. I quickly found out how much I enjoyed research, learning how reactions occur and determining what factors play a role in the formation of a desired product. If an experiment did not work as predicted, I always wanted to figure out why. I view these results more as a puzzle to solve. These puzzles are why I continue to enjoy working in the chemical industry. The unexpected surprises keep my career interesting and I truly enjoy constantly learning new knowledge and skills. My goal in any role is to have an impact by helping to drive an experiment or project forward and helping others along the way to achieve the desired outcome.
