I worked as a contract welder and fabricator for Quintrex Australia building aluminum boats in the range of 1.35 meters to 6.0 meters. My main duties were to serve as technical specialist in all matters relating to metallurgy, corrosion, welding, cathodic protection, and coatings development of welding and inspection procedures. I liaised directly with client technical representatives and third party technical representatives on any issues relating to welding, materials or fabrication

My role as an engineer for MTH was to provide the direction, control, monitoring, supervision and co-ordination of the engineering activities in accordance with the contract to ensure delivery of a 180-man security camp housing for the 2010 Olympics. Work undertaken: Liaising with MTH’s China Factory; Beijing. I also, interfaced with the Operational Support team to ensure all of the relevant parameters and electrical equipment functionality are fully addressed. I was also tasked to coordinated landfall operation in Port of Seattle and the transport of containers/modules to the client UIC Construction, on-site in Whistler British Columbia. As well, I oversaw the final stages of construction as well as provided the support, assurance and expert advice on all matters relating to security, safety, health & environment in order for MTH to achieve health and safety objectives and performance target.

I was responsible for MTH's in-house construction of a 45 man mining camp for Red Dog Mine, Teck Alaska Inc, which was delivered to DeLong Mountains of Alaska's Brooks Range. My main task was to liaise with suppliers to ensure the supplier is working in the best interests of the project and is aligned with the project goals and objectives. As an HSE Manager my primary role was to set up HSE systems, procedures, methods of working and monitoring day to day HSE operations and to promote safe behavior at all times.

I worked as an Engineer for MTH on a 140 man camp for the client Barrick Gold. Work undertaken: designing and preparing work plans. Implementation of interior and exterior fabrication. Fitting of pumps hardware, plumbing and electrical systems. Welding in flat, horizontal, vertical or overhead position. Fixing and maintaining equipment all on-site equipment.

Engineer for MTH on a 40 man camp for the client Alaskan Dreams in Juneau Alaska. Work undertaken: Designing and preparing working plans. Overseeing all in-house warehouse operation. In charge of asset interface for assigned electrical issues. I coordinated transportation of modules and oversaw on-site construction.

Assistant Engineer in-house at MTH in Yakima Washington on three housing projects for the clients: Red Samm construction- an 18 man camp, in Fairbanks Alaska. University Alaska Fairbanks- 20 module housing with restrooms and cafeteria. Velco Polar in White Horse Alaska- a 20 man worker housing. Work undertaken: Designing and preparing working plans. Overseeing in-house construction while providing comprehensive technical and engineering support related to design, fabrication and construction.

I worked for MTH as a Warehouse Supervisor implementing and overseeing all in-house building of: mining camps, construction camps, office trailers, field labs, farm workers housing, class rooms, bank and credit union buildings, Shower and locker room facilities, hospital and on campus clinics. My main task was to Identify the root cause of unplanned plant shutdowns and develop corrective and preventative actions to prevent re-occurrence. I was also tasked to provide and ensure that Company / Corporate HSE requirements are widely and consistently understood and implemented. I was the first HSE professional to be employed within the company with a primary focus of HSE system set up to meet the challenging demands of client requirements.

I built S/V Salomonberry a 32' fiber glass Offshore Tahiti Ketch. Work under taken: Designed and prepared construction plans. Cost estimate and control. Complete fit out of interior and exterior, spares and rigging, electrical, plumbing, mechanical and hydraulic. This vessel was built and set up as a heavy offshore cruiser.

I worked as a freelance diver/commercial air diver responsible lifting and the salvage of vessels with a zero tolerance pollution protocol. Additional work: Santa Cruz pier site survey inspection for low water corrosion. Monterey quay project; removal and replacement of debris and damage piles implementing underwater cutting, drilling and air lifting I also did bridge inspections. I also worked as a ROV Pilot with MBAR on M/V Western Flyer on diver support and research operations. As a Diving and ROV Safety representative I was to monitor the conduct of diving and ROV operations and ensure that the required contracted standards of underwater working are adhered to. Additional freelance work included: implementing and maintaining mooring systems, anode replacement, cleaning and maintaining private vessels.

I worked for San Juan Island Divers, Washington State, implementing and maintaining mooring systems. I also taught courses and guided dives and maintained and repaired all shop and dive gear.

I worked as Operations Manager for Aqua Sport, Grand Pavilion in Grand Cayman BWI. Work undertaken: handling single and twin engine vessels, filling air tanks, guiding dives, ran courses and provided repair and maintenance for all dive gear dive and boat operations. Organizing day to day work activities.

I worked as a Dive Instructor, guide and boat captain for Bob Soto's Diving in Grand Cayman BWI. Additional duties: dive gear maintenance and repair and diesel mechanic.

June 1992 to September 1992 work as a Research Engineer for Haldfoss AS Norway for the building of a 50' Phinisi Schooner in Tana Baru Sulawesi. I was tasked to research and provide all the detail drawings required for construction, such as the vessel's lines, offsets, structural and joinery sections, construction details, spar plans (sail) and machinery plans (power), plus a variety of other detail drawings and design data, including the vessel's hydrostatics, stability, performance, propulsion and range. I also, compiled information on how materials were sourced, imported and exported. My main objective was to provide complete estimating plans for Haldfoss so that they could provide a firm quote and preliminary contract for construction of the vessel.

May 1984 to June 1989 I worked for Forney Fruit Inc. I was a working hand on a farm and fruit packing company. I drove forklifts, loading and off-loading trucks, moving and stacking bins and pallets of produce and machinery. I drove fifth wheel trucks in the transport of produce. I was a heavy machine operator: tractors, front end loader, backhoes, diggers, dump trucks and cranes. I was a mechanic who fixed and maintained diesel, petroleum and gas engines as well as hydraulic systems and all facets of machinery of a fruit packing warehouse and farm. I was a meg and stick welder on various repairs and new planet projects. I used grinder, torches, cutting tools, band saws and chop saws. I worked with fiber glass laying up large waterways for the transport of produce. I was a builder who constructed controlled atmosphere storage rooms, farm worker housing, barns, corals and sheds. I organized and managed work teams. I picked apples, pruned trees, planted trees, cut suckers, organized irrigation, applied pesticides and herbicides, cut and baled hay, feed, cared and managed for ducks, chickens, fish, horses, cows and buffalos
