Verst was a Series A startup focusing on content translation and optimization. I managed a team of seven backend engineers building scalable web scrapers that could crawl, categorize, and ingest content websites and translate them effectively into Verst’s internal data format for re-rendering. I set up the AWS Kubernetes cluster that powered the scraping system and architected the first version of the scraper personally. As the effort grew, I became responsible for hiring the team around me and for the associated project and people management.Acquired by Dropbox.

We created machine learning models to estimate confidence in a listing’s accuracy and a queue of listings to be reviewed by moderators.I was backend tech lead for Google’s internal hiring systems, powering a recruiting pipeline tracking tens of millions of leads worldwide
