Experienced criminal investigator that retired from the Pennsylvania State Police in June 2024. Prior to retiring, I was a Corporal assigned to the Pennsylvania State Police - Criminal Investigation Assessment Unit. My primary responsibilities included reviewing all Homicide, Equivocal Deaths, and Sexual Assaults. I assisted with major case investigations, ongoing solved/unsolved homicide cases, and provided behaviorally based evaluations on incidents. I attended monthly meetings with other CIA Unit Members to conduct case assessments on cold cases and active major investigations. I also provided assistance to municipal / regional police agencies upon their request. Extensive training and experience in the areas of sexual offense investigations and crimes against children incidents. Prior to retirement, I was also assigned as an Amber Alert / MEPA Alert Designee for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Responsible for activating Amber Alerts as well as Missing and Endangered Person Advisories (MEPA) for the Pennsylvania State Police. Duties included assisting with Amber Alerts and MEPA Alerts that are being issued statewide. I was also a Pennsylvania State Police - Law Enforcement Instructor for Basic Homicide Investigation, Basic Criminal Investigation, and the Amber / MEPA Alert Dispatcher Course. In July 2024, I was hired by Innovative Forensic Investigations as a Law Enforcement Liaison.
