As an applicator, I am responsible for the correct application of fertilizer and chemicals to both residential and commercial turf areas. My service area ranges from Carlisle, Cumberland County to Brownstown, Lancaster County. Our department operates Z sprayers by L.T. Rich to precisely apply dry granular products, liquid products or both in one pass. Our clients can receive up to 6 "rounds" or treatments throughout the season. In addition to my route work, I go on the road to college career fairs to recruit interns or full time employees.

As an intern, I bounced around the company exploring the three branches of the company. Turf care, Plant Healthcare , and Tree Care. I really focused on the turf division.

I mowed and trimmed 20 commercial properties ranging from 1/4 acre apartment complex courtyards to 5 acre supermarket shopping plaza complexes. In the winter, I also did snow removal.

Spent two seasons working as part of a two man operation. Focusing mostly on residential properties, we mulched and installed new plant material.
