I am a Design Specialist III with Recon Engineering currently assigned to Cloeren Incorporated. My job description includes the layout and design of piping systems, structural supports, and vacuum systems for the plastic extrusion industry. I also design special machine foundations for large CNC Milling centers and follow through all phases of the construction process. I have thirty (30)+ years of experience in Drafting, Pipe Design, Checking, Mechanical Design, Structural Steel and Civil Design experience. I am experienced in all phases of a major refinery and petro-chemical projects including: P&ID's, Plans and Sections, Isometrics, field work and other tasks pertaining to a typical project. I am experienced in producing complex mechanical designs and prints and working with machinist to manufacture designs from fabrication through the assembly process.I also hold a Level II certification in RT,PT, & MT in the NDT field.I have extensive knowledge in AutoCad, SolidWorks, Microstation, PDMS, and Architectural design. I am also knowledgeable in various Microsoft applications.I also have a strong belief in mentoring to the young designers that are coming into this business.
