- Lead efforts and coordinated multiple teams to design and build an $11 million dollar production facility. Directly responsible for managing budgets and recommending purchase of new building assets. Upon approval coordinated efforts to layout equipment and production flow of new 135,000 sq. ft. facility.- Develop and implement project plan that would be used to transition two existing production facilities into single production facility. These efforts included developing and managing timelines and leading weekly team meetings to discuss and report progress of move without stopping production demand. Coordinated all activities of site contractors, machine riggers, electricians, pipe fitters, and city officials.- Developed, coordinated, and monitored all aspects of manufacturing for seventeen production work cells. These efforts included the selection of assembly methods, fabrication processes, and design for manufacturability while adhering to all quality and safety initiatives. - Created and lead Lean Steering Committee to improve quality, increase velocity, reduce cost and ensure the safety of production workforce within twenty work cells. These goals were accomplished by increasing shop floor engagement, developing and implementing metrics, procedures and control systems.- Responsible for the successful implementation of four lean projects with a team of eight people and a total budget of $65,000. Efforts included the use of Lean Methodology and tools (i.e., Kaizen, 5S, Poka Yoke, etc.) to achieve the goal of reclaiming 20,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space for new line.- Liaison between Engineering and Production responsible for the creation and implementation of operating procedures and process changes necessary for engineering changes. Introduced automation into manufacturing processes and design standardized tooling for production use.
