- Lead efforts and coordinated multiple teams to design and build an $11 million dollar production facility. Directly responsible for managing budgets and recommending purchase of new building assets. Upon approval coordinated efforts to layout equipment and production flow of new 135,000 sq. ft. facility.- Develop and implement project plan that would be used to transition two existing production facilities into single production facility. These efforts included developing and managing timelines and leading weekly team meetings to discuss and report progress of move without stopping production demand. Coordinated all activities of site contractors, machine riggers, electricians, pipe fitters, and city officials.- Developed, coordinated, and monitored all aspects of manufacturing for seventeen production work cells. These efforts included the selection of assembly methods, fabrication processes, and design for manufacturability while adhering to all quality and safety initiatives. - Created and lead Lean Steering Committee to improve quality, increase velocity, reduce cost and ensure the safety of production workforce within twenty work cells. These goals were accomplished by increasing shop floor engagement, developing and implementing metrics, procedures and control systems.- Responsible for the successful implementation of four lean projects with a team of eight people and a total budget of $65,000. Efforts included the use of Lean Methodology and tools (i.e., Kaizen, 5S, Poka Yoke, etc.) to achieve the goal of reclaiming 20,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space for new line.- Liaison between Engineering and Production responsible for the creation and implementation of operating procedures and process changes necessary for engineering changes. Introduced automation into manufacturing processes and design standardized tooling for production use.

- Managed production planning group staff which included production planners, seasonal employees and manufacturing engineers.- Manage Continuous Improvement team meetings which included quality initiatives, lean manufacturing, process improvements and safety concerns. - Develop, monitor, and control the production planning process by relieving bottlenecks and maximizing capacity to ensure optimization and customer satisfaction. In doing so recommended weekly labor requirements for approximately one hundred and twenty five production employees and material inventory for production use. - Collaborate with sales team to schedule and prioritize $3M (average) of product monthly to meet customer requirement deadlines, which included the expedited production of emergency repair orders.

Required to decrease cost per square foot of manufacturing space, increase throughput and maximize process efficiency. - Review product designs for manufacturability or completeness utilizing virtual product software and various CAD programs (Autocad, Pro-Engineer, Vis-View)- Provide technical expertise or support related to manufacturing.- Apply continuous improvement methods such as lean manufacturing to enhance manufacturing quality, reliability, or cost-effectiveness.- Purchase equipment, materials, tooling or parts to implement new product or manufacturing processes.- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, or quality control documents.- Quality control plans and processes, including Design and Process FMEA.- Utilize Six Sigma tools and methodology to analyze, measure, improve and control manufacturing requirements.- Project management for both internal and external customers.
