I am an Air Force avionics technician with a rich background, specializing in the maintenance of KC-10 and Boeing KC-46 aircraft. Throughout my service, I've explored diverse locations, including the United Arab Emirates, where my contributions earned me the Achievement Medal. Inspired by these experiences, I'm currently pursuing an undergraduate in machine learning & artificial intelligence engineering to elevate my expertise.In my current role on the Boeing KC-46, I engage with cutting-edge Boeing 787 avionics, boasting the most advanced autopilot systems. These systems enable the aircraft to autonomously handle takeoffs, landings, acceleration, and navigation in three-dimensional space. This has led to some lighthearted banter among my colleagues, jokingly referring to ourselves as autopilot babysitters. The evolving landscape prompts me to contemplate the future of piloting careers, considering the prevalence of drones and the potential for fully automated commercial aircraft.Motivated by this evolving industry, I am eager to contribute to the development of advanced autopilot systems that are poised to revolutionize aviation.
