I'm both an experienced Product and Project Manager, currently working in the Virtual Reality industry, seeking to solve interesting problems with emerging technologies and the creative and technical people behind them. I’ve successfully launched consumer and enterprise products at companies big and small, having either directly managed the teams or overseen and coordinated multiple departments to do so.I’ve been working in the Virtual Reality industry for the last five years leading teams on a wide variety of projects from entertainment and marketing experiences, to research study simulations, to enterprise focused collaboration and training applications. These experiences have ranged from simplified flying experiences that allowed users to soar over photogrammetric Las Vegas Strip to a ‘Save the Cat’-like height anxiety challenge, to a hardware and software package that provided a ‘PowerPoint meets WebEx’ remote collaboration, to training simulations for Walmart, Taco Bell and the Department of Defense. Since Worldviz is a small business, as the lead in these projects my role has included the simulation design, user-interface and experience, project management, in addition to product management. I’m technically savvy but not an engineer, I’m creative but not an artist, which means I know how to collaborate with, and coordinate the efforts of, the specialist who will actually execute on the product vision.
