Primarily responsible for the governance and oversight of the US Segment of WBA, including Walgreens, and WBA’s global financial close and reporting functions, including external financial reporting (SEC and environmental, social and governance (ESG) reporting), consolidation and financial close, accounting policy and research, treasury accounting, and financial information systems. Controller of the U.S. Segment of Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc. The U.S. Segment, with over $100 billion in annual revenue, has pharmacy-led health and beauty retail offerings in 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands through it’s Walgreens and Duane Reade brands. Responsible for leading all aspects of the division’s accounting function including monthly close and internal reporting, governance and oversight of accounting policies and procedures, Sarbanes-Oxley and internal controls, statutory reporting, guidance and support of strategic transactions, and assistance in the preparation of the Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc. external SEC financial reporting. Additional responsibilities and accomplishments:• Direct, motivate and develop over 90 professionals in Deerfield, IL, and Pittsburgh, PA. • Provide governance and oversight for the Walgreens’ SAP S4 Hana financial system implementation including individual store deployment, general ledger, accounts payable, miscellaneous receivables, fixed assets, project accounting, and retail inventory components. • Led the accounting related integration and purchase accounting activities of multiple transactions, including Walgreens’ $4.4 billion acquisition of over 1900 Rite Aid retail and pharmacy locations across the United States as well as Walgreens’ $700 million acquisition of Prime Therapeutics’ specialty pharmacy and mail services businesses. • Provide accounting guidance and assistance with mergers, acquisitions, strategic business partnerships, complex commercial agreements, and various strategic initiatives.

Responsible for all Exelon Corporate related areas of accounting including external financial reporting (SEC reporting), accounting policy and research, cash, payroll, shared services company, and benefits accounting, including stock-based compensation and pension and other post-employment benefits.Additional responsibilities and accomplishments:• Direct, motivate and develop 41 professionals in Chicago, IL, Baltimore, MD, and Philadelphia, PA. • Responsible for the timely dissemination of financial management reports including internal reporting, external SEC reporting, and the annual budget for the Exelon controllership.• Preparation and presentation of materials to Exelon’s Board and Audit Committee.• Significant contributor towards the development of a plan to reduce Exelon controller related costs by 15%, approximately $6 million, through centralization, lean process initiatives and assessment of spans of control. • Participate and provide direction to Exelon’s Accounting Disclosure and Governance Committee, SOX Steering Committee, and Finance Technology Council.• Provide governance and oversight of post-merger financial systems integration.• Oversight and support of annual valuation and impairment assessments of long-lived assets.• Manage Exelon’s relationships with our external auditors.

Direct the accounting operations of Exelon Generation’s (Generation) corporate, fossil and nuclear electricity generating operating companies. Primary responsibilities include managing the monthly close procedures, preparing quarterly and year-end SEC reporting, implementing new accounting standards, research and resolve complex accounting issues, contributing to the development of the budget and long range plan, recruiting, training and developing employees, and providing guidance to Generation’s executive management on the accounting impacts of operational decisions.
