About Todd Hendricks

I use data to protect and empower minority voters. I use a combination of tools in pursuit of that goal, including Bayesian inference, machine learning, graph analytics and data visualization. My work is often defined by the substantive goals of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 and the landmark Supreme Court decision, Thornburg v. Gingles. I am well versed with the quantitative methods used to support litigation in this context, and have supported civil rights interventions in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina. I love learning, and am constantly working to grow my knowledge and skills. When I am not reading a book or writing code, I am spending time with my daughter, Amalia and my wife, Dr. Sarah Bahm.
