I have created virtual meters that allow for building-level interval energy monitoring that was not possible before and has allowed for substantial improvements in the quality and accuracy of meter data. My work on energy monitoring tools using the OSIsoft PI system has resulted in the capability for real-time energy monitoring for the Center. I have been invited to speak at several national conferences on the topic since my implementation and have also been invited by NASA to speak with additional Centers regarding the possibility of scaling the energy management system up to other Centers across the agency.
