I have worked as a captive “in house” designer as well as at several service bureaus providing customers with the expertise to find solutions to their design needs.Design Career Highlights:-High speed memory architecture including Rambus, DDR and RLDRAM.-Low noise high speed analog video routing. -EMI suppression.-High voltage power supplies requiring UL certification.-Controlled impedance stack-ups with matched lengths and diff. pairs.-Blind and buried vias.-DFT and DFM of high volume RoHS compliant products.-Schematic and PCB library creation and management.-High density BGA and fine pitch designs.-Experienced team leader.-Proficient liaison between the design team and PCB fabricators and assemblers.Design Tool Experience:Altium Designer since 2009, but I have also designed PCBs using Mentor Graphics Expedition, Boardstation, PADS and Cadence Allegro. I have a proven ability to quickly learn and fully utilize design software as well as other supporting software such as gerber viewers, auto routers and impedance calculators.
