Todd Hirsch was formerly Managing Director, Head of Origination for Commercial Real Estate at Benefit Street Partners in New York. Todd Hirsch was Executive Vice President, Head of CMBS Finance and Distribution for Arbor Commercial Mortgage. Mr. Hirsch developed Arbor's CMBS platform to capitalize on the opportunities that are increasingly presenting themselves with the reemergence of this product.Todd Hirsch was a Managing Director of Credit Suisse, Head of the European Real Estate Finance Group and a member of the European Fixed Income Operating Committee, based in London until June 2011. Since 2007, Mr.Hirsch managed the execution of Credit Suisse's fixed income strategy of its $14 billion, legacy exposure to European real estate. Mr Hirsch created and led the execution of various balance sheet solutions, including one off and portfolio dispositions, asset management and restructurings. From 2002 thru 2007, Mr. Hirsch worked in the Real Estate Finance Group in New York and London where he focused on the origination, structuring and distribution of debt and equity related products. In the US, Mr. Hirsch focused primarily on real estate related LBO's, development finance and mezzanine investments. Prior to joining the Real Estate Finance Group in 2002, he was a member of the Corporate Bank team where he was responsible for the work out and restructuring of Credit Suisse First Boston’s US legacy exposure to real estate debt and equity. During his career, Mr. Hirsch has raised over $25 billion for public and private real estate companies in the commercial mortgage market. Mr. Hirsch holds a bachelors degree from Hamilton College.
