- Worked closely with Head of the Platform with budgets, business plans and reforecasts.- Assist in preparing / presenting to Global CEO/ Global COO / CFO and Executives weekly results of the global platform including financial results, significant events, ongoing initiatives (bi-weekly meeting)- Worked closely with internal software engineer to develop and provide flows for software database extraction nightly, which includes, interface to trading system, nightly pricing feeds, proprietary mark to market calculation for all types of physical trades as well as futures / swaps (options pricing not yet finalized given complexity and feed for historical volatility etc). This project streamlined global controlling of the position providing not only nightly positions, forced traders to input trades timely into front end system and accurately, enhanced accuracy of reporting to central, and provided a sound data source for statistical research which has aided in budgets / reforecasts. Further, this has cut out 12 hours of manual work daily across the globe.- Worked closely with regional chartering manager to optimize global flows and take advantage of maritime tax exemption in Singapore (moving long term fleet) netting expected $8m usd savings in taxes – presented to global tax / senior management and currently in process of finalizing transfer.- Worked as one of the three assigned Board Members of a joint venture between LDC and a public Dry Bulk Shipping company. Prepare and present all budgets / forecasts / funding as well as preparation / presentation of quarterly unaudited and annual audited financial statements.- Been integral in the complete restructure of freight flows / legal entities as well as cross functional processes / harmonization across all geographical offices. This includes the successful startup of freight operations in Singapore
