Todd Jacobson, a highly respected executive with extensive leadership in corporate, government, and nonprofit sectors, formerly served as the Senior Vice President, Head of Social Responsibility at the National Basketball Association (NBA). In this role, he oversaw global social responsibility, public engagement, sustainability, and community partnerships for the NBA, WNBA, NBA G League, Basketball Africa League (BAL), and the NBA 2K League. Todd also directed the League’s government affairs efforts, managing relationships with the White House, State Department, and United Nations. During his 23-year NBA tenure, he led the development of NBA Cares and other award-winning programs throughout the world and managed the League’s social justice efforts helping to establish the NBA Foundation and National Basketball Social Justice Coalition. Recognized across the industry and sought after as a speaker and thought-leader, Todd currently holds the position of Associate Adjunct Professor at SIPA at Columbia University and serves on several corporate and nonprofit advisory boards. He earned a BS from Cornell University and an MPA from Columbia University.
