SPECIALIZATION: Hydrology, forest hydrology, geomorphology, watershed restoration, stormwater, erosion and sediment control, road upgrading and decommissioning, project management and technical oversight.Mr. Kraemer is a Certified Erosion and Sediment Control Specialist (CPESC) and Qualified Stormwater Prevention Plan Developer (QSD) and Practitioner (QSP), through the California Stormwater Quality Association (CASQA). For six years he was an appointed professional member on the Wetlands and Creeks Committee for the City of Arcata. Additionally, Mr. Kraemer has developed and implemented storm water pollution prevention response measures during complex clean up and abatement orders, including a solid waste municipal landfill, large-scale estuarine and geomorphic restoration projects, and for various private landowners. From 1998 to 2000 Mr. Kraemer served as a staff watershed and restoration specialist at Pacific Watershed Associates. His technical experience includes watershed sediment source assessment for stream channels and hillslope areas, road system evaluation and erosion remediation, measurement and quantification of past and future sediment sources, development of erosion control and erosion prevention prescriptions, stream channel erosion assessments and surveying, and landslide mapping. His specialty is in the inventory and quantification of stream channel erosion processes, and in the measurement of surface water hydrology.Since 2000, Mr. Kraemer has served as a Project Leader (Hydrologist) in the Watershed Division at Pacific Watershed Associates. His responsibilities include complete project management from proposal writing, budget preparation, conduct and oversight of earth work, data collection and analysis, mapping, GIS map preparation, reporting, and the technical oversight of heavy equipment and hand labor erosion prevention and erosion control work on roads and trail systems.
