CurrentResponsible for developing, driving, planning and coordination of LSG Sky Chef's (Division of Lufthansa Airlines) North American logistics management. This current position defines, develops and implements a streamline logistics process for all 36 US locations as well as globally for the LSG system. This position also has responsibility for over 1400 fleet vehicles including maintenance, capital budget and purchasing new equipment. Accomplishments include:• Implemented a labor and fleet transportation scheduling system, saving LSG Sky Chefs over $ 1mil in the first 14 months of operation. • Enhanced and aligned all 3rd party maintenance contracts to include standard SLA’s and performance metrics, keeping overall maintenance costs flat and increasing accountability while expanding the fleet by 150 vehicles.• Revamped all 3rd party fleet vendor relationships to align expectations and strengthen relationships to increase operational flexibility and cost efficiency. The enhanced relationships also paid dividends when LSG Sky Chefs needed to reduce costs during the COVID-19 pandemic, while partnering with vendors to reduce monthly expenditures by $87K.• Partnered with truck builders to develop an innovative and more cost effective catering vehicle. The collaboration has created industry-leading clean fuel equipment and lowered annual maintenance costs by 15% per vehicle. • $2.5 mil USD average annual Capex contribution (2013-2018) resulting from better fleet/driver utilization and process flow in the flight customer service centers (e.g., all of the above).
