As President, I led the launch of the B.GOOD fast casual restaurant concept into the Canadian market. The Canadian operation now has 5 units opened and a revenue run rate approaching $5mm. The Canadian operation was acquired by the B.GOOD corporate parent in late 2017, and I assisted with integration efforts through January 2018.Responsibilities included:- Initial Market Feasibility Study to determine whether or not to enter the Canadian Market- Analysis of the cross border operational frictions and how we would overcome them- Staffed and developed a senior team of 7 other professionals- Site selection for five units in the Greater Toronto market- Oversaw the design and construction process for the five stores- Executed marketing launch strategies tailored specifically to each unit- Established a strategic framework for the launch and scalability of our corporate catering efforts- Analyzed third party delivery party options to optimize volume while minimizing fees paid- Optimized menu from an operational efficiency, sales attachment, and tiered pricing standpoint- Established & maintained a weekly scheduling process which lowered labor costs by 500bps- Managed & provided final oversight for accounting and financial reporting to investor partners

Covered all segments of the Consumer Sector for Alydar Capital (the public equities division of Summit Partners) with AUM of $2.0 billion. The Consumer Sleeve managed by our team invested $250mm of firm capital.Employed a strong strategic and fundamental based long/short investment strategy focused on identifying how the business models of the companies in my coverage universe (hardline retail, softline retail, recreation, and restaurants) truly make money and when they outperform relative to the product and business cycles and relative to other investment opportunities in the sector.The Consumer Team was the top performing team at Alydar from 2009 through 2014, with strong alpha generation and low net exposures.

Provided primary analytical coverage of the Consumer sector for the Kaintuck Explorer Fund, which was a newly launched fund adding a Consumer overlay to the core Telecom/Media/Technology Fund. Generated a minimum of 120bps of incremental performance over the core TMT Fund for each of the three years that the product existed.
