As the CMS RAC Region A Leader, this included the development of healthcare compliance analytics, forensic auditing, MSP compliance improvements, all deriving from predictive and post-pay models. This helped optimize provider, payer and hospital compliance along with developing training materials for Providers to understand how CMS is looking at their data to help them improve their coding and documentation.

Responsible for building and leading a nationally focused organization to develop and execute on KP's compliance data and technology strategies working with the health plan, hospital, med group and other KP entities. This includes the development of analytic outcomes from predictive models monitoring patient and provider aberrant activities, prioritize post and pre-pay outliers which support healthcare FWA monitoring and recoveries.

Project CFO for a nearly $1B program and responsible for finance, vendor and facilities management of the company's largest Infrastructure transformation program. The program focused on improved claims and provider contract automation and other claims process improvements.

Responsible for the IT Compliance of Kaiser Permanente's IT Division supporting all health plan and care delivery systems. Developed and executed on the strategy to improve the quality of compliance audits and overall compliance awareness. Implemented the initial IT SOX 404 program to include testing key applications and controls as well as support the remediation efforts.

Responsible for the general finance and accounting of the new Shared Service Organization within Corporate Finance. Part of the initial Six Sigma Black Belt Program in Finance. Helped put in place the department’s initial SOX 404 program (focused initially on company-wide accounts payable).

The shared services department included multi-million operational budgets to drive the following activities and impacts: Integrated IT procurement, strategic financing, asset management, material management services, vendor managements shared services, human capital resource management and facilities during department restructuring. .

Oversaw finance, accounting, asset management and material services for a $300 million division. Piloted department’s first capital acquisition and requisition tracking process and helped create the IT Division’s first automated financial reports.
