An EEHA Electrician and Hazardous Areas Inspector with +9 years’ trade experience on high-value construction, maintenance, and refurbishment projects across the LNG, fuel storage, mining, and commercial development sectors, within Australia. A specialist in the delivery of HA inspections, electrical construction, installation, terminations, commissioning, preventative and breakdown maintenance services. Successfully coordinates and supervises electrical work crews, utilising in place resources and ensuring that teams are provided with clear direction and the required resources to deliver high quality workmanship, with safety at front of mind.Key Areas of Expertise:☛ Hazardous Area Audits ☛ Coordinating the delivery of EEHA inspections and electrical installations for complex energy and resources construction projects, to scoped work packages whilst maintaining all schedule, cost and HSEQ requirements ☛ Detailed EEHA inspections on electrical installations within LNG processing and fuel storage facilities including (but not limited to) propane, ethylene and methane oil skids, diesel, petrol and aviation fuel pumps, switch boards, compressors, and various instrumentation ☛ Electrical wiring installations, terminations, commissioning and statutory testing (including point-to-point and insulation resistance) on a wide range of electrical equipment, as well as glanding and termination of multicore, instrumentation and power cables (including Hazardous Area barrier glands)☛ Conducting a broad range of fault finding, diagnostic and rectification activities, sound understanding of AS/NZS and IEC Standards, and strong overall working knowledge of the hazards and dangers within high risk work areas☛ QA/QC of punch listed items and returned work packs, redlining of drawings, document control, verification and compilation of dossiers, completing of ITR’s and FIC’s ☛ Reading and interpreting schematic and control electrical drawings, P&ID’s, floor plans and technical project specifications.
