Following many years on the executive, in 2021 I began my role as President of the UQ Handball Club.Recently, our Men's team qualified and attended the prestigious IHF Super Globe Tournament - essentially the world club championship.Together with a dedicated team of volunteers we managed the logistics, international communications and strategic planning required to send 21 athletes and officials to this globally recognised tournament in Saudi Arabia.In three short months we were able to recruit officials, develop budgets and finical models, secure strategic sponsorship partners, build marketing proposals, work with international agencies to secure athlete transfers, organise uniforms, accomodation, flights and transfer and much much more.My role is ongoing and although Super Globe was a highlight, I am motivated to continue to do great things at UQ Handball Club
