Exploration, design, and development of a UAV mapping system to aid navigation and fleet management of the SeedSpider robot.

Exploration, development and evaluation of different motor encoder technologies for development and production applications. This involved extensive use of LabVIEW FPGA for deployment on NI cRIO hardware, as well as the use of Altium Designer for the design of interfacing hardware.

My main tasks and duties included:- Assembly, preparation and assistance with fabrication of metalwork and components in the workshop- Assistance with aerial rigging work- Installation, configuration and maintenance of radios and other equipment, buildings and machinery as well as hilltop sites and control rooms- Stock and inventory control including ordering, pricing and locating project items
