After seven years as a traveling musician I started a career in technology. I was lucky enough to fall into helping organizations manage and use their data from the start 25 years ago. I'm even luckier now to work for Microsoft where I get to help large healthcare organizations navigate managing their data in more important times than ever, the era of AI. AI is too important to the world to be held up by poor data or poor operational processes. While I love helping people understand our various technologies like our AI Services, Fabric, Databricks, and Azure ARC, I find it more fulfilling to help very busy organizations build a strategy to use these and similar services. Healthcare has many issues including rising costs, burned out physicians and nurses, and poor system interoperability to name a few. I wake up every day with the privilege to help tackle these issues.
