For fifteen years I have transported perishable food commodities all over the United States and the globe. Personally, I enjoy food and the impact it brings to an individual’s life. Food influences a populaces’ culture, social gatherings, and it can be the very foundation of an organization’s strategic objectives. American food companies have a reputation for producing high quality consumable items and global demand continues to increase. The United States Census Bureau predicts that within the next twenty five years ninety-five percent of the current U.S. food suppliers demand will exist outside of America. Intrinsically, I would like to support American food organizations, represent their brands, and limit the perpetuation of domestic jobs moving overseas. In order to cultivate a long term partnership and promote continuous improvement, throughout the supply chain, I take it upon myself to constantly learn/improve upon the following: regulatory changes, documentation compliance, customs formalities, be proactive, and provide cost-effective/transparent transportation solutions. Commodity Forwarders and I are a direct representation of an entity’s global brand. If we are not successful with our execution then we have failed our customers/partners. Our expertise, carrier relations, cold chain network, global partners, and packing solutions give us the capacity to mitigate risk and provide excellent services in an ever-changing marketplace.
