I'm the director of product and business development for CLB Media, an Aurora, Ontario-based publisher of B2B magazines, websites, video production, events and related properties. CLB Media is rapidly diversifying its product mix, and offering a broad range of marketing services to its customers.

In April 1997, I started as the editor of PEM Plant Engineering and Maintenance magazine (www.pem-mag.com). Then we launched Advanced Manufacturing magazine in March 1999. I was a reporter and editor for the English and Inuktitut language newspaper of record for the Eastern Arctic, the Nunatsiaq News. Working from our Baffin Island newsroom, I enjoyed dealing with the eccentric assorted cast of characters, politicians, business people and other folks who helped us fill our pages with interesting copy. I also co-hosted a weekly French language news and current affairs radio show "Entre Les Lines."

Researched and wrote scripts and prepared the outlines for the television program, The Editors, broadcast in Canada on CBC Newsworld and in the United States on PBS. I also worked on scripts for the French version of the Editors, Redacteurs on Chef and for a weekly news program, Ici Canada This Week with then host Leslie Roberts.
