Running the Operation of the northern traffic from Crew to Dundee, with 25-40 drivers (dependent on volumes). maintaining on time deliveries whilst keeping contact with customers of late running vehicles and swapping loads where necessary to ensure drivers are withing there driving an working hours. completing collections within customer specifications, trailer specific, times, and planning to minimize empty mile running. keeping a live up to date track of driver locations to spot delays and collection issues as early as possible. ensuring collections are made to the best load fill possible aiming for a target of 22.4 out of 26 across the fleet.raising defects and VOR's in conjunction to law and regulation to ensure all on road vehicles are legal to meet these standards. passing on road defects to shift supervisor for the relevant call out for fast and efficient solutions.briefing and debriefing drivers ensuring all paperwork is present and correct to minimize complications and charges upon deliveries.pre-planning night deliveries and collections to ensure all sufficient cover available for all jobs, and that we are not over or under booked.
