Provides software leadership and management to multiple projects for all areas of the software lifecycle with regards to current DoD regulations and standards. Responsible for project management tasks including software conceptualization, analysis, design, cost, development, testing, documentation, deployment, and maintenance in accordance to the CMMI for services standard. Prioritizes and coordinates assigned projects with software developers, customers, database administrators and system administrators within the Army Material Command. This coordination often extends to the Defense Finance and Accounting Services, Letterkenny Army Depot, Defense Civilian Pay System, Logistics Modernization Program, Corpus Christi Army Depot and AMRDEC to ensure to ensure each project proceeds smoothly and is integrated into all related efforts. Provides technical advice and guidance to multiple DOD agencies on matters related to areas of specialty and on Information Management and Technology policies and procedures. Develops web based application to perform automated data reconciliation for the AMCOM. Responsible for prioritizing and assigning software development task to the software engineering team. Provide mentorship to junior software developers and ensure integrity of the software code written. Provide hiring recommendations, software improvements, and monthly and weekly reports to Senior Management. Brief Senior Management on software application status, planned direction, and accomplishments produced by the software engineering team. The described software application is built on the .NET framework. The majority of the application logic is performed using PL SQL to communicate with Oracle's 11g Enterprise database. Builds Oracle Tables, triggers, procedures, queries, and other pertinent database attributes as required to assure the speed and ability exist to support customer needs. Client side code is written with the facilities of Microsoft's Visual Studio using C# and Active Server Pages (ASP). Responsible for maintaining Windows 2008 Server to host the application. Responsible for configuring and maintaining Internet Information Service (IIS) to publish the web application.

Develops applications for the JTDI (Joint Technical Data Integration) web tool to facilitate the ability to efficiently publish dynamic web pages on the JTDI website. Carry out government requirements to achieve dynamic pages and offer recommendations to publish dynamic pages using the most modern architectures and practices. Created and documented a spider Perl script to spider existing JTDI web servers. The spider script stores meta data for each URL in a MySQL database and it is designed to be compatible on both Windows and Unix platforms. Installed and configured the Apache Web Server, PHP, Perl, and MySQL database.

Team Lead, Web Developer and Systems Analyst for the Pathfinder application, a web based platform tool used throughout the intelligence community for reliable foreign intelligence information. Performed as the task lead for the Pathfinder Web 5.4(PFWeb) application upgrade. Managed the task of converting the application PFWeb 5.2 to PFWeb 5.4. This included coordinating responsibilities with personnel; government civilians at MSIC. Managed the task of converting the Memex databases to Memex5.4 used by Pathfinder. Rewrote legacy Fortran Scripts using the Perl language as part of the ongoing support of the PFWeb requirements. These various scripts are used to provide PFWeb with data and facilitate various checks on data being loaded. Performs Software Development assignments for the web based MEPED application. MEPED is the authoritative source for first line intelligence information. Wrote various tools that insure data integrity, professional presentation of data, and matrixes for the data being provided. Wrote and maintained tools used to gather and publish data provided by each of the US Defense Intelligence Processing Centers.

Program in a windows environment using the J2EE to develop system to allow U.S. Commanders ability to determine if target was destroyed. Responsible for the conversion of an existing C++ application into a Java web based application. Applied ANT to the build process of Java code. Assisted with use cases, conceptual graphs, and the SRS for the developing Joint Targeting Toolbox (JTT) application. Assisted with the hiring process for team members; interview process, and recommendations on qualifications of applicant. Provided requirement recommendations. Other technologies used were the jEdit IDE, Tortoise CVS, and JDBC.

Configured various operating systems for testing of patches on numerous pieces of software. Wrote, tested and implemented C++ and Perl programs to be run on Linux Servers. Performed desktop support on office PCs as well as maintenance and up-grades on test servers including Windows 2000 Server and Linux Servers. Contracted to Department of Defense MegaCenter (DMCH) in Huntsville AL to perform mainframe computer operator functions. The DMCH is one of the largest Information Technology centers in the Huntsville area, with a worldwide customer base. Worked in the OS/390 and Unix computer tape operations, which comprises over 110,000 active tapes in the library, with an average daily use in excess of 4000 tapes. This involved working with over 160 tape and console devices, ranging from 3420 and 3480 type devices to Robotic Tape Silos. Responsible for the disaster recovery tape cycles integrity and the shipping/receiving of tapes to customers worldwide. Initiated jobs and enter and retrieved data using CICS/Roscoe. Coordinate and process customer requests.; Provided research to LogC2 on a consulting basis. Researched emerging and legacy technologies to assist the Army with reaching the goal of acquiring a more centralized and unified computer system for its logistics challenges. Analysis was performed on the technologies researched. PC hands-on experience building machines based on standard architecture.
