My name is Todd Serge,I have a unique and eclectic educational and work background that makes me incredibly flexible and suited to a huge variety of tasks. My initial education and work experience as an I.T. Technician gave me the tools and logical thinking skills to break down a problem into parts and solve any issue with speed and efficiency. After working in the I.T. Industry I went back to university to follow my desire to become an elementary school teacher. I graduated with distinction with a Bachelor's of Arts from Wilfrid Laurier University and then proceeded to receive my Bachelor of Education from Nipissing University. My education and the work I did teaching children taught me several important lessons. The most important being how to impart information to other people. When educating children it is very important to figure the best ways of showing groups of people information and having them all grasp and retain it. I learned how to view things in multiple ways to make my approaches flexible. Extensive creativity is required to make the material engaging. During my training for both I.T. work and education I was editing video and animating fan-works for a hobby. This brought me to my career in television advertisements. I combined my problem solving skills, my creativity and knowledge of how to express information in an engaging way, and my video editing skills to become a successful part of an advertising team. I think my unique experiences with work and education have allowed me to be incredibly adaptable and creative. I hope to further my career working in a creative field no matter what that field may be.
