The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for executing the day to day operation of the NewPage Mill’s centralized function for optimally selecting and assigning carriers, tendering shipments, receiving acknowledgements, and monitor shipment progress. The Coordinators are primarily focused on one shipping location within the company and will also have back-up responsibility for one or more locations.•Select optimal carriers for shipments by using customized shipping system tool (TP&E) and industry knowledge; Daily cost saving around $39,965/yearly savings $13.4 million.•Manage load tendering for 459,500 tons for 2013, 458,596 YTD for 2014•Research and resolve billing issues with carriers•Plan cost effective shipments by building virtual load scenarios in system for both domestic and international traveling via truckload, LTL, and/or intermodal •Monitor, track and trace customer shipments •Proficient in SAP, TP&E, Mercury Gate and Microsoft.

Manage two-way rental fleet for special events in Dayton and surrounding area as well as generate new sales.Reduced customer monthly expenses by as much as $4,000/per month or $48,000/per year.Negotiated largest new corporate account with equipment sales over 165 units with a yearly value for Sprint/Nextel in the amount of $70,000.Managed two-way rental fleet for P&R which generated sales of approximately $80,000 a year.
