I volunteer with this non-profit organization whose mission included promoting financial literacy within Fairfax County. I act as a formal Mentor with a family, assisting in defining goals (short and long term), creating/maintaining a practical budget, and tracking the assets/debts. I participate in initial financial counseling sessions in conjunction with community organizations. These sessions focus on individual issues and questions for members of those organizations. I have given a class on household budgeting, using FDIC's "Money Smart" program, Module 4 "Money Matters".

I successfully passed the CFP® certification examination in March 2017 and working on next steps.

Currently focus on FAA, NASA and NOAA for the capture of major contracts (since 2012). Previously managed a business development team of up to four Directors for new business capture in Civilian agencies with primary focuses on FAA, NASA, FBI, USDA and Health agencies.
