IT Architect working on the Windows 10 upgrade for a large US bank- Created PowerShell scripts and processes to simplify and automate the migration of user data from Windows 7 to Windows 10 PC’s in remote branch locations.- Created an automated checklist that is run after PC’s have been upgraded to Windows 10. This dropped the Deskside time to validate the new image from approximately 30 minutes to less than a minute per PC.- Assisted with the assessment of the branch locations and participated in designing the upgrade path for end users.

Designed the sub-process for the IBM Global SCCM enablement project – focusing on how to implement SCCM in a Global Delivery Centre.Windows Image consultant, participating on the team designing the processes and tools to implement Windows To Go in an Enterprise environment.Designed an image management and deployment process that saved over $3M in 3rd party license fees and ~$100K/year in labour for IBM’s largest supported customer. This process also enabled the Canadian Image Factory to support the Windows XP, Vista and 7 images for twenty-six customers with a staff of 10.Member of IBM’s Global team of MMS-PM (Managed Mobility Services – Platform Management) Architects.Lead technical support person in charge of the Markham Global Delivery Centre (including server infrastructure, processes, tools management).-Designed, implemented and support the server infrastructure currently in use for the Image Factory. This includes 5 xSeries IBM servers, 10 TB of fibre attached storage and tape backup units. Additionally, as part of the server infrastructure, ongoing support for the software running on these servers which includes Windows Server 2008/2012, VMware vCenter Server, ESXi as well as firewall/anti-virus and backup software.
