Responsible for the trade execution of Koch’s vessel-delivered anhydrous ammonia business. This responsibility included coordination with Koch stakeholders, suppliers, and customers (internal & external) to ensure timely cargo liftings and deliveries worldwide. In addition, I was directly involved with all chartering activities relating to Koch’s LPG vessels, inclusive of vessel owner & charter-party negotiation, broker interactions, and vessel sublets to 3rd parties. Fleet size varied between 6 to 8 LPG vessels depending on seasonal requirements.

I was responsible for the safe operation of Koch Ag & Energy Solutions’ LPG vessels under charter. The responsibilities included coordination with vessel captains, vessel agents, inspection companies, bunker (fuel) suppliers, vessel owner representatives, and internal commercial colleagues - among others. Heavy emphasis was placed on increased vessel utilization and efficiency, to ensure Koch is safely maximizing the cargo lift and time-efficiency of all port calls.
