This program in many ways starts to prepare employees that are developing leaders to acquire a better understanding of the Georgia Power business and strategy and allows the participates to have a leg up for cross departmental, functional, and even company roles. The Transmission Leadership Program assigns a mentor to help guide and mold the careers of participants. I learned much about the power industry, business in general, leadership, employee relations, and how to be a good steward in the community where you live from people at Georgia Power.
