­- Shadowing the retiring Vice President in order to assume his role­- Bidding on both partial shipments and truckload freight from more than 20 local shippers­- Responsible for creating a plan by which to ship many LTL shipments all over the US while doing so in an efficient and profitable manner ­- Coordinating the loading and delivering of this freight to ensure cost-effective shipping­- Scheduling of more than 100 employees

­- Responsible for the pulling and shipping of product in a proficient manner­- Determined work schedules for both loading dock employees as well as drivers­- Coordinated delivery appointments to ensure logistical efficiency­- Responsible for hiring, disciplinary actions, and firing of all dock workers and drivers­- Scheduled regular maintenance of trucks and trailers
