About Todd Whitelow
Computers have always been a major part of my life. As a child it was my dream to be the next Bill Gates. I used to walk to the library in middle school to make websites about harry potter on a free web host. It was an adventure for me. I love adventure. You know sometimes life doesn't lay out the way we want it to. College wasn't the right fit for me in my early 20s. I ended up working in restaurants and paying bills.By my mid 20s I was working as a bartender making fast cash, traveling around the country, working in resorts, going to music festivals. Such an adventure. Eventually I made it to the mountains of Colorado and fell completely in love with Snowboarding and whitewater rafting. I consistently explore the wild west. But then the pandemic came along and slowed the world down. I turned 30 and started to reflect on my life. It was then that my old passion for computers was reignited. I enrolled into a bootcamp and got up to speed on the MVC style of making websites as well as what the future i moving to after. I complete my bootcamp, worked with some small busineses to make their websites and I even worked on a start up social app for skiiers & snowboarders. So my next step has been enrolling into Western Governors University for a Bachelors in Software Engineering. So where am I in this adventure now?1) I am a student of software engineering2) I am also getting IT certifications such as Google IT Support, CompTIA A+, Security+, Linux+, Network+, Project+. 3) Currently looking for a role as a technical support specialist or software engineer.4) Consistently learning and sharing with the community.
