As the General Manager Corporate Services I am responsible for Kambu Health's Corporate Governance, Business and Facility Services, WHS, Systems and Data as well as Contracts and procurement of services.My previous role as the Director - Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health at the Darling Downs West Moreton PHN is to drive the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Strategy, RAP and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander specific services within our region.Previously as a Regional Manager at Aimbig Employment, a Disability Employment Service provider. I was responsible for all Queensland regions/sites day to day operations of the business. We have both DMS and ESS contracts as well as specialized contracts in some regions.Prior to Aimbig Employment, I was the Business Manager at Maxemployment. I managed the sites of Dalby and Roma, covering Dalby, Roma, Miles, Tara, Chinchilla and St George. Maxemployment currently provides Jobactive and previously Disability Employment Services.Prior to Maxemployment I was employed with BUSY At Work for over 9 years. My role as Indigenous Relationships Coordinator, looking after the development of our Indigenous Employment and Training Programs. As well as management of our SQW Programs, responsible for Mentoring and Recruitment of participants as well as work placement.Previously I was the Program Manager for the QGC Strengthening Local Workforces Program with BUSY At Work. This is a partnership program between BUSY At Work and QGC. This program aims to place 200 apprentices and trainees into positions outside the CSG Industry in the Local Government Areas of Western Downs, Banana, North Burnett and Gladstone. I am responsible for the staffing of the program as well as meeting all targets of the program. I am also responsible for the delivery of Critical Skills Training to Apprentices, Trainees and Employers across the four areas we work.Prior to this position I was the Project Officer for our IEP Programs in Brisbane and Hervey Bay where I placed and mentored a number of Indigenous Trainees while they completed their studies under a traineeship. This included mentoring every week or fortnight to ensure completion.I have a passion for Education and Training and seeing the people in the programs succeed. I also have an interest in Policy and Procedure management.Previously I have worked in Case Management for a large Job Network Member as well as held various roles with an Australian Apprenticeship Center include Administration, Contacts Officer and Field Consultant.
