As an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor for PSA Airlines, Inc. I am responsible for the direct supervision of Lead Mechanics and Maintenance Technicians for the safe and proper completion of scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance on the Bombardier CRJ 200, 700, and 900 aircraft.Responsible for employee management to include individual performance evaluations, proper shift scheduling requirements and employee training. Also responsible to enforce, maintain, and create Company policies and procedures to streamline and increase the efficiency of the maintenance department with regard to the individual maintenance base and its daily operations.Assist the Maintenance Planning department by performing research and providing feedback with an overall goal to increase the efficiency and reduce the required aircraft ground time for completing scheduled maintenance. Assist the technical engineering department in the process of obtaining DER approved aircraft repairs by providing detailed damage reporting and other aircraft related information. Act as a liaison between the aircraft manufacturer's engineering and technical support help desk and all other departments to support any and all maintenance requirements.Coordinate with the Maintenance Training Department with regard to the scheduling, completion and tracking of maintenance training for the associated maintenance facility and its maintenance employees.
