Hi, I'm Todd Youngblood, a research-oriented MBA and practicing information and communications technology (ICT) data engineer focused on systems building for social, environmental, and alternative governance enterprises. Community Wealth Building and Plural Economics serve as guiding stars for my work, moving us toward an economy that is sensitive to the needs of people, purpose, and a living planet - not hyper-focused on profit.Prior to starting my career in ICT and finance, I was a licensed catastrophe insurance adjuster for residential property in the state of Texas. While my focus shifted into a dedicated a corporate role in info. security systems administration and engineering, I remained interested in climate risk, insurance, mechanisms of risk-pooling, and peer-to-peer finance.I'm currently focused on prototyping accounting and finance tools to support operations and reporting within non-profits, co-ops, trusts, and other steward-ownership initiatives. I offer research, design, and data engineering consulting services through a service-provider cooperative, Roots.I enjoy exploring foundational, trust-based decision-making mechanisms integrating open accounting/finance, and organizational stewardship structures that strengthen and embolden projects and organizations at a neighborhood and bioregional level.I consider myself student of the Commons working in the context of regenerative finance toward enhanced land, housing, and food systems stewardship in alignment with the needs of the humanity and the natural world.I'm available at todd.y@ieee.org, but will not respond to marketing or sales requests.
